Amy Bruce
Over twenty ago, Ms. Amy had a little idea that has grown to clinic you know today. Over those years, as she grew as a business owner and leader, she continued providing speech therapy, always keeping her skills sharp and her focus on the original purpose and goals of ABC. These days, she focuses her clinical skills on treating clients with feeding needs.
Ms. Amy lives in O’Fallon with her husband, where they raised 3 children and are active in their church and the community.

Mr. Zac has been treating kids and guiding clinicians at ABC for (years). He joined the clinic immediately after graduating from SIUE and has developed vast experience in AAC and some other words.
Mr. Zac lives in Troy with his 3 kids and brilliant, gorgeous wife who did not write this website content. When not boring his children with oddly specific yet useless knowledge, he enjoys hiking, camping and loosing to his aforementioned wife in complex board games.
clinic director, speech therapistChristine earned a Bachelors in Exercise and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 2010. Before joining the team at ABC Pediatric Therapy, she provided children’s home health and early intervention PT services in St. Louis, MO. She also has acute care experience from time at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. At ABC, Christine enjoys the opportunity to work together with both family and other team members to accomplish a child’s goals and to help them reach their highest possible quality of life. Christine loves being a pediatric PT, a wife, and a mother to 2 beautiful children.

Melissa Lisk
Melissa earned a Bachelors and a Masters in Communication Disorders from Southeast Missouri State University. Melissa has worked at ABC Pediatric Therapy since graduating in 2016. She has treated a range of pediatric communication disorders ranging from mild to profound. She enjoys helping each child work towards achieving their goals while empowering caregivers with knowledge and tools to help maintain their child's progress. Melissa loves spending quality time with her husband and her two wonderful boys. She also enjoys yoga, reading, and baking in her spare time.

Natalie Hart
Natalie earned a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. While in school, Natalie gained experience at the UIUC Speech-Language Pathology Clinic, in elementary schools, early intervention, adult neuro outpatient rehab, and pediatric/adult outpatient rehab. Since graduation, Natalie has worked at ABC Pediatric Therapy providing speech and language therapy to children with a wide variety of needs. In her free time, Natalie enjoys baking, reading, and hiking.

Cady earned a Bachelors in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale and a Masters in Communication Disorders and Sciences from SIUC in 2022. After graduation, Cady worked with the geriatric population in long term care facilities and acute care settings before finding her true passion in working with children. Cady loves to read, travel, go to concerts and sporting events, tend to her plants, spend time with family and friends, and explore nature.

Abbey Ernst
Abbey graduated with a Bachelors in Communication Disorders and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2025. While in school, Abbey gained experiences at the SEMO Speech-Language-Hearing Center, in an early childhood school setting and an outpatient hospital setting. Since graduation, Abbey has worked at ABC Pediatric Therapy, providing speech and language therapy to children with a diverse range of needs. Abbey has always loved working with kids and knew her future career would involve getting to help make a difference while growing true bonds. Abbey loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, and spoiling her dog, Tilly.

Maddy Zurbrugg
Maddy earned a Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi and an Masters in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Saint Louis University in 2025. While in school, Maddy gained experience at the SLU Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic, a preschool, a K-8 school, and a hospital. Maddy has worked at ABC Pediatric Therapy since graduation. Outside of work, Maddy enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on runs and walks, traveling, and watching Ole Miss sports!

Kyla earned her Bachelors in Communication Disorders and her Masters in Communication Disorders from Southeast Missouri State University. During college, she gained extensive clinical experience through SEMO’s Center for Speech and Hearing, in an outpatient hospital setting, and an early childhood special education program. Since graduating, she has worked at ABC Pediatric TherapyIn her free time, Kyla enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves traveling to new places around the world.

Brooke earned a Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. While in school, Brooke gained a wide range of experiences at the SIUE Speech-Language-Hearing Center, in an early childhood setting, elementary school, and an outpatient hospital setting. Since graduation, Brooke has worked at ABC Pediatric Therapy providing speech and language therapy to children with a wide variety of needs. In her free time, Brooke likes to camp, hike, and be outside! She also enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends and family.
